A gentleman is in a essential but secure situation in clinic following he was shot in the stomach by a masked gentleman in Banbridge, County Down.

Police stated the gentleman, who is in his 40s, was shot in a car park on the Rathfriland Street on Friday night.

The taking pictures was reported to police shortly after 20:00 BST.

A 46-year-outdated guy was arrested on suspicion of tried murder and conspiracy of murder. He was afterwards introduced on bail.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Services claimed it received a contact to go to the Tullyear Close area of Banbridge soon just after twenty:05.

Earlier, broken glass was seen beside a taxi parked inside the Rathfriland Highway park-and-ride car or truck park.

Banbridge community ‘shocked’

The MP for Upper Bann, Carla Lockhart, appealed for any one with any information about the taking pictures to get in touch with the law enforcement.
